The Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) PLC has renewed its partnership with Swedru All Blacks Football Club, retaining its status as the club’s official banking and matchday sponsor for the 2026/27 season.
The agreement was unveiled at a brief ceremony at ADB’s head office in Accra on Monday, October 19, 2026.
Speaking at the event, ADB Deputy Managing Director in charge of Services, Professor Ferdinand Ahiakpor, said the bank was proud to support one of Ghana’s oldest football clubs, adding that the partnership aligns with its broader vision of building strategic partnerships and nurturing communities.
Professor Ahiakpor noted that both organisations share values of transformation, innovation and excellence. He said while Swedru All Blacks are working to rebuild their legacy, ADB is focused on becoming one of the top three banks in Ghana.
The bank also pledged additional incentives to motivate the club throughout the season.
Swedru All Blacks were represented at the ceremony by Club President Stephen Atto Quayson and Communications Director Nathaniel Obeng, who both expressed excitement about the renewed partnership.
Obeng described the agreement as timely, saying it would provide both a financial and psychological boost as the club seeks to strengthen its competitiveness in the Ghana Premier League.
On the pitch, Swedru All Blacks have made an encouraging start to the 2026/27 campaign. They have collected 11 points from seven matches and secured back-to-back victories over Asante Kotoko and Karela United.
The Black Magicians currently sit seventh on the league table, with the renewed partnership expected to provide further support as they pursue their ambitions for the season.
