According to the HESCO spokesperson, Chief Executive Officer HESCO Faizullah Dahri formally inaugurated a separate billing and bill-printing system for Mirpurkhas Operation Circle.
On this occasion, the Chief Executive Officer stated that HESCO’s “Journey of Lights” is not limited to zero-loadshedding feeders. It also encompasses providing better facilities to consumers at various stages, ensuring timely delivery of electricity bills, and making the organisation’s systems more efficient.
In this regard, an important milestone has been achieved today. For the first time in approximately 35 years, the entire billing and bill-printing process for Mirpurkhas Circle has been made separate and independent.
Previously, the bill-printing processes of Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas and Lar Circle were interconnected. If the data of even a few bills in one area had not been updated, printing of the relevant batch would be delayed, affecting the timely delivery of bills.
With the separation of the billing and printing systems of Mirpurkhas Circle, bills for this circle can now be prepared and printed independently. This initiative is expected to benefit more than 250,000 consumers in Mirpurkhas, who are likely to receive their electricity bills at least three days earlier than before. In some cases, even greater time savings will be possible, providing consumers with additional time to pay their bills.
Congratulating and paying tribute to Chief Commercial Officer Zaki Mukhtar, DGM MIS Nadir Ali Khushk, Head of CCMS Amber Shah, the Superintending Engineer of Mirpurkhas, and all their teams on this achievement, the Chief Executive Officer said that this success was the result of collective efforts, mutual cooperation and effective teamwork, following work that had continued for a long time.
HESCO management is committed to providing maximum facilities to consumers. Under the “Journey of Lights” initiative, improvements are being made not only through the establishment of zero-loadshedding feeders but also in billing, administrative affairs and service delivery.
The primary objective of these measures is to facilitate consumers, improve the organisation’s performance, and make the electricity supply and billing systems more efficient. HESCO will continue taking further initiatives in the future to provide relief to consumers and enable the organisation to achieve new milestones in development and improvement.
