The secret to Victoria’s Secret Angel glam starts with skin care.
Ahead of the VS Fashion Show earlier this week, celebrity aesthetician Mimi Luzon prepped Adriana Lima, Jasmine Tookes, Alessandra Ambrosio and more supermodels’ complexions for the catwalk.
Luzon tailored her treatments to each woman’s skin types and needs, incorporating a variety of her own products — including a 24-karat gold cream inspired by her signature gilded masks — along with high-tech tools, like Oligio monopolar radiofrequency for tightening and Sofwave ultrasound therapy for lifting and sculpting.
Below, Luzon breaks down the specific prep she provided for each model, plus the standout products she used.
Adriana Lima and Elsa Hosk: Mimi Luzon Skincore Crème Oil
“For Adriana, my focus was on enhancing her skin’s radiance while working on firmness and definition, particularly around the jawline and neck. I wanted her skin to look lifted, sculpted and luminous, with a beautiful natural finish for the runway. I used my Skincore Crème Oil alongside the 24K Pure Gold Cream with Exogold to deeply nourish the skin and enhance its radiance.
“For Elsa, the focus was on skin tightening and firming, combined with deep hydration and soothing care. I wanted to create a beautifully smooth, refined complexion with a fresh, lifted appearance while keeping the skin calm and comfortable. Skincore Crème Oil was one of my key products to nourish and soften the skin.”
Irina Shayk and Joan Smalls: Mimi Luzon Exogold Treatment
“Irina has incredibly beautiful, well-maintained skin, so it was really about refining what was already there. We focused on improving skin texture, firmness and overall smoothness, creating that flawless, velvety finish that looks amazing both up close and on camera. I used my 24K Pure Gold Cream with Exogold and Urban Serum to nourish, protect and perfect her skin.
“For Joan, I wanted to enhance her skin’s natural luminosity while delivering deep hydration and focusing on firmness and definition along the jawline. The result I was looking for was a fresh, sculpted and radiant complexion that still looked completely natural. I used my 24K Pure Gold Cream with Exogold to nourish the skin and enhance its radiance.”
Alessandra Ambrosio: Mimi Luzon Get Even Day Cream
“With Alessandra, I wanted to keep everything very gentle and focus on hydration, radiance and calming the skin. The goal was to leave her complexion feeling deeply nourished, fresh and beautifully balanced, without overwhelming it before the show. I used Skincore Crème Oil and Get Even Day Cream to hydrate, soothe and create a naturally radiant finish.”
Jasmine Tookes: Mimi Luzon Fresh Face Clearing Mask
“For Jasmine, I focused on skin renewal, firmness and tightening, while making sure her skin received plenty of hydration. The goal was to achieve a smooth, refined and beautifully fresh complexion that would look flawless under the runway lights. I incorporated my 24K Pure Gold Cream with Exogold, Fresh Face Clearing Mask and Get Even Water to help refine the skin’s texture, balance the complexion and boost radiance.”
Vittoria Ceretti: Mimi Luzon Get Even Water
“With Vittoria, my focus was on balancing the skin, refining its texture and enhancing her natural radiance. I wanted her complexion to look incredibly fresh, even and healthy, without losing its natural character. I used my Fresh Face Clearing Mask and Get Even Water to help clarify, smooth and balance the skin for a beautiful runway-ready finish.”
