Orange Sierra Leone has reaffirmed its commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence through a successful celebration of Customer Service Week 2026, held from 5 to 9 October 2026 under the theme “Going the Extra Mile.”
The week-long celebration brought together customers, employees and key stakeholders to recognise the important role customers play in the company’s continued growth and success.
The celebrations also provided an opportunity for Orange Sierra Leone to reinforce its commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences, strengthening customer relationships and continuously improving service delivery across the country.
The official launch, held on Monday, 5 October 2026, highlighted the importance of building a strong customer-centric culture and recognising the invaluable contribution of customers to the company’s success.
Reinforcing a Culture of Customer Service Excellence
Delivering his remarks at the launch ceremony, Orange Sierra Leone’s Customer Experience Director, David S. Mansaray, emphasised that exceptional customer service goes beyond meeting customer expectations. He highlighted the importance of building lasting relationships through trust, responsiveness and a genuine commitment to understanding customers’ needs.
He noted that excellent customer service is fundamentally about people serving people and encouraged employees to continuously learn, collaborate and embrace a culture in which going the extra mile becomes an integral part of Orange Sierra Leone’s identity.
Mr. Mansaray also expressed appreciation to Orange customers for their continued loyalty and trust, stressing that customer satisfaction must remain a daily priority rather than a commitment limited to Customer Service Week.
The launch also featured a video message from Orange Sierra Leone’s Chief Executive Officer, Aïcha Touré, highlighting the company’s ongoing customer experience initiatives and its continued commitment to innovation, digital inclusion and customer satisfaction.

Emphasising the importance of customers to the company’s existence and continued success, the CEO stated:
“At Orange Sierra Leone, we recognise that our customers are the very reason we exist. Without their trust, loyalty and continued support, there would be no Orange. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and we never take their confidence in us for granted.
We deeply value their feedback, concerns and recommendations because they provide us with invaluable opportunities to learn, improve and deliver better services. Every customer’s voice matters, and it is our responsibility to listen, respond and continuously strive to meet and exceed their expectations.

Guided by our values of Care, Boldness and Responsibility, we remain committed to putting our customers first, earning their trust every day and going the extra mile to deliver the quality of service and experience they deserve.
To all our customers, thank you for choosing Orange, for believing in us and for inspiring us to become better every day.”
The CEO’s message reinforced the company’s commitment to making customer satisfaction a shared responsibility across the organisation and ensuring that customer feedback continues to guide service improvements and business decisions.
Going the Extra Mile: Employees Take to the Streets to Appreciate and Engage Customers.
Beyond the official launch, Orange Sierra Leone demonstrated its appreciation for customers through a nationwide customer recognition and engagement initiative.
As part of the celebrations, long-standing customers who have remained loyal to the Orange network over the years were recognised and presented with special gifts in appreciation of their continued trust and support.
In a demonstration of the company’s commitment to going the extra mile, Orange Sierra Leone employees took to the streets across the country to engage directly with customers, express appreciation for their loyalty and thank them for their continued confidence in the Orange brand.
The initiative went beyond celebrating customer loyalty. It provided a valuable opportunity for employees to listen firsthand to customers’ experiences, gather feedback, understand their concerns and receive recommendations on how Orange Sierra Leone can further improve its products, services and overall customer experience.
Through these face-to-face interactions, employees reinforced the company’s commitment to building meaningful relationships with customers and ensuring that their voices remain central to decisions aimed at improving service delivery.
Customers expressed appreciation for the recognition and commended Orange Sierra Leone for its contributions to the development of the telecommunications sector. They also shared valuable insights and recommendations, particularly regarding network quality, service reliability and customer support.
The engagement demonstrated Orange Sierra Leone’s belief that customer feedback is an essential driver of continuous improvement and that listening to customers remains fundamental to delivering services that respond to their evolving needs and expectations.
Bringing Orange’s Values of Care, Boldness and Responsibility to Life
The nationwide customer engagement initiative also brought to life Orange Sierra Leone’s core values of Care, Boldness and Responsibility, which are deeply embedded in its approach to customer service excellence.
Care is reflected in the company’s commitment to listening to customers, understanding their needs and treating every interaction with empathy, respect and consideration.
Boldness inspires employees to go beyond conventional service delivery, proactively engage customers, embrace innovation and explore new ways of exceeding customer expectations.
Responsibility reinforces the company’s commitment to taking customer feedback seriously, addressing concerns and continuously improving the quality, accessibility and reliability of its services.
These values serve as guiding principles in Orange Sierra Leone’s efforts to create meaningful customer experiences and build lasting relationships founded on trust.
By taking customer engagement beyond its offices and service centres into communities and public spaces, Orange Sierra Leone demonstrated that customer service is not merely about responding to complaints but about proactively listening, understanding customer expectations and taking meaningful steps towards continuous improvement.
The initiative further reinforced the company’s belief that every employee, regardless of their role or department, has a responsibility to contribute to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
