Nothing says autumn like burgundy, and the Duchess of Sussex seems to agree.
Today, she appeared head-to-toe in the colour alongside the Duke of Sussex in their first joint appearance since returning to the UK.
The couple attended The Community Recording Studio in Nottingham, the location of their first royal engagement together some nine years ago.
For the occasion, Meghan wore the perfect transitional piece for autumn. Her coat was a wool and cashmere-blend from Joseph, which she paired with some Lorenzo 105 burgundy heels from Jennifer Chamandi.
Underneath, the Duchess stuck with the burgundy theme wearing a chic crepe skirt from The Fold and a roll neck jumper from Joseph, seemingly a favourite brand of the Duchess.
The look wasn't just off-the-rack, however. Meghan removed the strap from her £650 Jennifer Chamandi heels as well as the extra collar detail from her thick woolen coat.
Proving that she's not all about designer buys, she topped the look off with a humble high street buy: a £28 M&S belt.
Meghan appears to have taken a leaf out of the Princess of Wales' style book as she donned head-to-toe burgundy, one of Kate's favourite autumn fashion hues.
Kate has made the regal colour one of her signature tones having also worn the autumnal colour on numerous occasions, including a monochrome outfit at a surprise hospital visit back in January.
Victoria Beckham and the Princess of Wales are also said to share a similar sense of style after the former Spice Girl joined Kate Middleton in wearing burgundy at the launch of her Selfridges pop-up.

The trendsetting Royal's love of burgundy has inspired fans to add the chic tone to their autumn wardrobes and, perhaps, Meghan was not immune to her influence.
