She may have access to some of the world's finest stylists and custom designer pieces, but it is Meghan Markle's humble Marks & Spencer looks that reign supreme.
On Wednesday, the Duchess of Sussex, 45, showcased her love for the British high-street retailer as she stepped out in an M&S £85 blazer and a pair of £26 straight leg jeans for lunch in London with her royal wedding hairstylist.
While the £28,000 outfit Meghan wore for afternoon tea with Malala Yousafzai at Claridge's on October 7 sparked a slew of criticism, few could dispute her effortlessly chic choices from M&S this week.
According to fashion expert Rochelle White, Meghan's M&S pieces 'look and feel more polished because the type of styling gives her shape and definition', while the 'cut, fit and balance is much better than her previous £28,000 outfit'.
She told the Daily Mail: 'She looks better in M&S affordable pieces, as they are more relatable. Oversized and expensive garments don't automatically translate into a flattering outfit. It can come across as untidy.'
In a marked move away from her usually pricey wardrobe, Meghan paired M&S' Pearl Lapel Tuxedo Jacket with their straight leg jeans to create a casually sophisticated look.
Still adding a touch of designer, the Duchess sported a £16,210 diamond and emerald chain necklace by Logan Hollowell and £650 sand suede stilettos by Jennifer Chamandi. She also carried her favourite Chanel bag, believed to be worth £6,000.
The following day, Meghan's reignited love affair with M&S continued. For her first joint appearance since returning to the UK with the Duke of Sussex, she sported a £28 belt from the retailer for the occasion.

Dressed head-to-toe in burgundy, the Duchess tied the look together with M&S' Leather Triple Keeper Jeans Belt in the colour Dark Tan.
However, Meghan has a well-documented history of wearing M&S pieces - with the Duchess frequently selecting items for her UK outings over the last nine years.
In December 2017 during her first royal Sandringham Christmas, Meghan opted for M&S' Collection Leather Gloves as she arrived at the annual church service at St Mary Magdalene Church.
The elegant gloves cost an affordable £17.50 and matched perfectly with her Chloe Pixie bag, £2,250 Philip Treacy chestnut-brown hat and £986 wide-collar wrap camel coat by Canadian fashion brand Sentaler.
One month later, during Meghan's first public engagement as a fiancée, royal fans suspected the former Suit's star had perhaps done a spot of Christmas shopping at M&S since relocating to Britain.
Arriving in Brixton, London, to visit a local radio station on January 9, Meghan delighted crowds as she sported the brand's £45 Autograph bell-sleeve jumper.
Kick-starting what many dubbed the 'Meghan Effect', the then Duchess-to-be's jumper sold out online within a matter of hours.
Then, in June, just four weeks after her own royal wedding, Meghan showcased that wedding guest shopping is easily achievable on the high street.
At the nuptials of Prince Harry's cousin, Celia McCorquodale, on June 16, Meghan's £3,992 floral blue dress garnered mixed reactions from onlookers - with some likening it to a baggy dressing gown or a pair of curtains.
However, royal fans could not take their eyes off her gorgeous white fascinator that tied the look together.
While Meghan's Oscar De La Renta floral dress was questioned by fashion critics, the striking M&S fascinator she paired it with was praised by many for helping to salvage the look - and came with an affordable price tag of £29.50.
And Meghan's favouritism for M&S continued into her first full winter as a Duchess - as she opted for a sleek bodycon dress at the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance held that November.
The glamorous off-the shoulder double crepe bodycon dress, which retailed at £49.50, was the star of the show - with onlookers amazed by the affordable price of the elegant dress.
To tie the look together, Meghan paired the dress with a custom Stella McCartney coat that was believed to cost between £2,000 and £3,000, alongside the designer brand's Falabella clutch and a pair of black shoes.

Since returning to the UK, all eyes have been on the Duchess of Sussex, with avid onlookers curious how her sense of style could be set to change as she swapped sunny Montecito for Autumnal Britain.
On Wednesday, Meghan met with A-list hairdresser George Northwood, 47, and a member of her PR team at The Park in Bayswater.
Mr Northwood is known by many as the stylist who swept Meghan's hair into a messy bun for her evening wedding reception in Windsor after she married Harry in May 2018.
Staff said the Duchess was 'lovely' and 'talked to everyone' after choosing a table by the window overlooking Hyde Park.
George, who has also created signature looks for Alexa Chung, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Lily Collins, accompanied Meghan on her royal tour of Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand later that year. The pair have remained close ever since.
A waiter at The Park, a New York-inspired restaurant, said Meghan spent two hours there.
'I was thrilled, to be honest, when I saw her come in. I didn't know she was coming beforehand,' he told the Daily Mail.
'She sat by the window and I think people were surprised she was here. She was lovely, though. She interacted and talked to everyone.
'We get celebrities here all the time. She's only a human being, but it's someone you're not familiar with. It was surreal.'
Film director Steven Soderbergh is a regular, while singer Joe Jonas has visited in recent weeks.

The restaurant, set up by acclaimed restaurateur Jeremy King, is known for dishes including lobster rolls, chicken Milanese and New Orleans crab cakes, as well as build-your-own ice cream sundaes.
Meghan and George were joined for lunch by PR executive Sarah Corney, who worked at Netflix for almost a decade.
She promoted the six-part bombshell documentary Harry & Meghan, as well as the Duchess's With Love, Meghan series, which was axed after two seasons.
Sarah has since joined Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis, the PR firm that famously represented Meghan during her time on Suits and continued to support her after she moved to the UK to marry Prince Harry.
Their lunch came less than 24 hours before Meghan and Harry made their first public appearance together since their extraordinary return to the UK.
The Duke of Sussex repeatedly put a protective arm around his wife as they were cheered by crowds and stopped for selfies during a series of royal-style engagements in Nottingham on Thursday.
When a supporter welcomed her back to the UK, Meghan smiled and replied: 'It's wonderful to be back.'
Their royal-style charity engagements in the East Midlands, just six weeks after returning to live in Britain, came after the King described the Sussexes as 'private citizens'.
Critics have called the visits, organised by Team Sussex, a 'cynical' attempt to return to royal duties 'by stealth'. Harry was in playful mood and was pictured tickling a man's ginger beard.
