Actor-couple Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna heaped praise on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay following their recent meeting with the former actor.
Taking to social media, Deverakonda shared pictures from their visit and spoke about the CM’s warm welcome despite his hectic schedule.
Recalling the meeting, Deverakonda spoke about their discussions and the Chief Minister’s efforts to make them feel at ease.
“Had the most beautiful time with the dearest Thalapathy Vijay Sir. Even after a long day he received us with so much love and shared such personal insights into life, work and the world.”
“One meeting and sir is already a favourite. Until next time, My love and respect.

Deverakonda has previously spoken about the possibility of sharing screen space with Thalapathy Vijay, admitting that he would prefer not to work alongside the superstar because “the entire movie will be about them”.
In 2018, the Telugu actor also revealed that he had never watched a Vijay film in its entirety, although he enjoyed watching the trailers.
Rashmika, on the other hand, has shared screen space with Thalapathy Vijay in the 2023 Tamil film Varisu, released as Vaarasudu in Telugu. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, the film marked their on-screen collaboration.
On the work front, Mandanna and Deverakonda are set to reunite on screen for Ranabaali, their first collaboration in seven years, following their memorable performances together in Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade.
Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, the period drama is set in 19th-century South India and centers on a British-engineered famine and a courageous man who rises up to fight against it. Alongside Deverakonda and Mandanna, the film features Arnold Vosloo in a key lead role and is slated to hit theatres on October 16.
