Once again, the most prevailing storyline regarding arguably the most dynamic player in college football relates to his health.
Mississippi State quarterback Kamario Taylor, who appeared notably limited early in the Bulldogs' home game vs. Oklahoma on Saturday, appears to have been injured after he was tackled by a Sooners defender on a scramble attempt.

Shortly thereafter, he exited the game near the end of the first quarter and did not return in an eventual 23-15 loss to the Sooners.

Kamario Taylor injury update
Speaking after the game, Mississippi State coach Jeff Lebby offered an injury update on Taylor.
"He felt it a little bit, so it felt like the right thing to do was get him out of the game," Lebby said. "As we move forward, we'll know a lot more tomorrow and we'll know more Monday as we move through it."
Why did Kamario Taylor play vs Oklahoma?
Lebby also offered an explanation as to why Taylor, who was questionable entering the game, got the start vs. the Sooners. Taylor notably had a boot on his right foot during the Week 7 loss vs. LSU. He wore the same boot on Oct. 24 in the loss to Oklahoma.
"It was a team decision," Lebby said. "From our doctor's standpoint, (head trainer) Thomas (Callans), myself and Kamario, he felt good. He had a better week. Still very limited throughout the week, but we were all on the same page and he was ready to go play."
Who is Kamario Taylor's backup?
Lebby would not commit to whether Taylor would be out for any significant amount of time for the Bulldogs. Until then, Mississippi State will turn to co-backups Billy Puckett and Appalachian State transfer AJ Swann.
Taylor finished the game completing two of five passes for 10 yards and lost 12 yards on three sacks. He played in three drives, none of which yielded points in the defeat.
