Police have rearrested a 54-year-old woman in Thermi, Thessaloniki, after finding 212 dogs, cats and goats living in unsuitable conditions across her home and 10 outdoor areas.
She was first arrested two weeks earlier for allegedly threatening a 35-year-old woman. Prosecutor-ordered inspections then confirmed the poor animal living conditions, leading to her second arrest ahead of a court appearance.
Veterinary officials are cross-referencing the animals’ identification tags with the National Pet Register.
