Nota, a South Korean company specializing in artificial intelligence model optimization, showcased an AI model optimization tool built on its own technology at a developer event hosted by global chip designer Arm.
Nota said on the 21st that it supported a hands-on workshop for the Arm AI Model Optimizer aimed at global developers at Arm Create 2026, held in San Jose, California.
The Arm AI Model Optimizer was developed on the basis of NetsPresso, Nota's AI model optimization platform, and is included in the Arm AI Portal, Arm's developer support platform. The tool helps developers optimize AI models for the specific chips or devices on which the models will actually run. It works by cutting the computing load and memory use of a model to improve execution efficiency.

At the workshop, developers used the tool to optimize AI models themselves and check the results of running them. The sessions also covered the range of AI models and hardware the tool supports and ways to compare performance before and after optimization. The tool is currently offered in early access, available to a limited group of developers ahead of its official release.
Nota said it will continue to help developers test the tool in their own development environments and submit feedback after the workshop. The company plans to gather use cases across a variety of AI models and hardware to improve the product's features.
"Based on the optimization requirements we identified in the Arm developer ecosystem, we will strengthen the competitiveness of the NetsPresso platform, support adoption by enterprise customers and expand global business opportunities," said Chae Myung-soo, chief executive of Nota.
