This statement follows a series of Houthi attacks on Saudi infrastructure, including airports and energy sites, amid rising tensions. The recent warning suggests the continuation of Houthi actions targeting Saudi economic and civilian assets, which have prompted defensive measures from Saudi Arabia. Market participants appear to be considering the implications of these developments on the likelihood of Houthi forces advancing into Aden, with recent pricing indicating a potential increase in perceived risk.

Key Takeaways

• The Houthi official’s statement appears to suggest potential ongoing military actions targeting Saudi facilities.
• Market pricing suggests an increased likelihood of Houthi forces advancing toward Aden, though the social media origin of the statement tempers expectations.
