Seven US senators are urging the government to “immediately change course” on President Donald Trump’s plan to buy diesel from Russia.
The senators - three Democrats and four Republicans - believe the diesel deal violates US law.
“Congress introduced an explicit ban on Russian energy imports in 2022,” the senators wrote in a statement.
