(ANSA) - ROME, 22 OTT - Three minors have been placed in pre-trial detention, while 21 others have been ordered to remain at home—the juvenile justice equivalent of house arrest—or have been placed in youth care facilities for their part in last weekend's shocking youth riots in Milan, judicial sources said Thursday.
These are the outcomes of the latest 24 arrest validation hearings for individuals involved in the clashes that took place in Milan on Sunday, October 18.
The Juvenile Court and the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office announced these decisions in a statement.
In total, 35 minors had been arrested between last Saturday and Sunday.
For the eleven individuals arrested on Saturday, decisions had already been reached in recent days to place them under house arrest or in youth care facilities. (ANSA).
