Actor Tiger Shroff was seen without bandages in new photographs shared by Maharashtra minister Ashish Shelar, offering some relief to fans following the October 18 firing incident.
On October 18, three assailants reportedly approached Tiger’s car and opened fire. The actor escaped unhurt, but his driver and a fan who was near the vehicle sustained injuries. After the attackers fled on a motorcycle, Tiger reportedly rushed his driver to the hospital. Three people were later detained in Rajasthan’s Kota in connection with the case and brought into Mumbai Police custody. On Tuesday, the Delhi Police arrested four more people, including two women, in connection with the firing.
In the first photographs to emerge after the incident, Tiger was seen shirtless, with bandages on his chest and left arm. Reports said he had suffered minor abrasions, was examined by doctors and later discharged. However, new photographs shared by Ashish Shelar on Tuesday showed the actor without bandages. The minister had visited Tiger to enquire about his well-being following the firing.
Shelar captioned the X post: “Visited Tiger Shroff and enquired about his well-being following the unfortunate firing incident in Juhu. Such acts of violence have no place in our society. Wishing him strength and a speedy recovery.”
Earlier, on Sunday, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had met Tiger at the actor’s home. Photographs and videos from their meeting showed Tiger shirtless, with bandages visible on his chest and arm.
Following the meeting, Shinde condemned the firing, describing it as “deeply concerning”. He said he had spoken to the Mumbai Police Commissioner, who had formed several teams to track down those responsible.
“Tiger Shroff’s vehicle was targeted. This incident is deeply concerning and condemnable; I condemn it in the strongest possible terms. I have spoken with the Police Commissioner, and I have also spoken with Tiger Shroff. The Mumbai Police Commissioner has formed several teams to track down those who opened fire—they will be apprehended and given a response in their own language. Our current priority is to keep Mumbai and its citizens safe,” Shinde said.
Meanwhile, Tiger’s team has issued a statement warning of legal action against those circulating AI-generated videos and false claims about the actor, cautioning against the spread of misinformation following the incident.
