Kamario Taylor ruled out vs. LSU
Taylor is out for Saturday's game against LSU on the road as he is still rehabbing a foot injury he suffered earlier this season against Missouri in Sept. 26. In Mississippi State's last game against Alabama two weeks ago, Taylor played through the injury, despite showing signs of visible pain against the Tide.
He threw for two interceptions and took five sacks, and he ended up exiting the game in the third quarter. The Bulldogs were hopeful that Taylor could get healthy during MSU's bye week last week, but he was listed as questionable in the SEC's player availability reports leading up to the LSU game.
The Bulldogs will also be without starting running back Fluff Bothwell against LSU.
In his place, MSU will start redshirt freshman Parker "Billy" Puckett.
