Kaizer Chiefs return to the spotlight following their goalless draw against Golden Arrows in Mbombela. Amakhosi host Gavin Hunt’s ever-feisty Stellenbosch FC at the FNB Stadium. Expect a debut for Stellies’ new Nigerian midfielder.
TUESDAY’S BETWAY PREMIERSHIP FIXTURES AND PREDICTIONS
FIXTURE: Orlando Pirates vs TS Galaxy, Orlando Amstel Arena, 19:30.
The Rockets are winless in three games. They’ve suffered two 1-0 defeats to newcomers Kruger United and Chippa United. Orlando Pirates, wounded by Sundowns last weekend, will deliver a ruthless response.
Prediction: Orlando Pirates 3-1 TS Galaxy.
FIXTURE: Kaizer Chiefs vs Stellenbosch FC, FNB Stadium, 19:30.
Amakhosi’s unbeaten start to the season is under severe threat, with three senior central midfielders out injured. The list includes Lebohang Maboe, Siphesihle Ndlovu and Adolf Mtasingwa.
Stellenbosch have not lost in three games after two draws against Sekhukhune United and Durban City, as well as a 1-0 win over Kruger United. Playing at home after two consecutive draws, the pressure on Kaizer Chiefs will push them to grind out a result.
Prediction: Kaizer Chiefs 2-1 Stellenbosch FC.
MORE ACTION IN DURBAN

The African champions and MTN8 winners Sundowns visit the Natal Rich Boyz. It’ll be a debut match for new coach Dimitar Pantev. Prediction: Richards Bay 1-3 Sundowns.

This is the first Durban derby of the season. Coach Eric Tinkler makes his debut for the Citizens after replacing Khalil Ben Youssef. Tinkler will be searching for City’s first win in three games after draws against Stellenbosch FC and Milford FC, as well as a 2-0 loss to Orlando Pirates.
AmaZulu have been something of a surprise team this season. Arthur Zwane’s side are in third place with five wins, one defeat and a draw. Striker Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya is in the form of his life, with eight goals in seven league games.
Prediction: Durban City 2-2 AmaZulu.
