Five fewer fans than last night?
That's the official attendance at American Family Field for Game 2 of the World Series between the Milwaukee Brewers and the Tampa Bay Rays on Saturday night, Oct. 24.
There were 43,245 spectators at the game, five fewer than the Game 1 attendance of 43,250 on Friday, Oct. 23.
No matter where those five people went, American Family Field was over seat-capacity for a second consecutive night. The stadium has 41,900 seats, indicating about 1,345 guests had standing room only tickets.
Ticket prices were about the same between Game 1 and 2. Game 1 had the most expensive tickets in MLB history, and Game 2 was just shy of the same price.
During the regular season, the Brewers averaged 34,431 fans across 81 home games. American Family Field had a total attendance of 2,788,933 across the regular season. Out of 30 MLB teams, the Brewers had the 11th-highest attendance this year.

The stadium's baseball record attendance is 46,218. That was set at then-Miller Park on Sept. 3, 2003, a regular-season game against the Chicago Cubs. The Brewers lost that game, 8-4.
Last year, the Brewers removed 1,600 seats in right field to make room for more offices. Brewers business operations president Rick Schlesinger said the organization would look for seat expansion opportunities in the years after the new office construction.
