The opening reflects ADIB’s continued investment in its physical network and digital capabilities to make banking simpler, more convenient and more responsive to customers’ needs.
Designed around how customers choose to bank, the branch combines self-service terminals and smart teller services with the expertise of ADIB employees. Routine transactions can be completed through digital facilities, while branch teams remain available to provide assistance, advice and support for more complex banking needs. The concept moves beyond traditional teller counters to create a more flexible experience, giving customers greater control over everyday banking and access to personal guidance when they need it.
The opening reinforces ADIB’s approach to banking: digital channels and branches work together to serve customers. By bringing these capabilities together, ADIB is evolving the role of its branches to place greater emphasis on advice, relationships and assisted service, while making everyday transactions more convenient.
The new branch also strengthens ADIB’s presence in Al Ain, bringing its network in the city to nine branches within a nationwide network of 64 branches.
Amit Malhotra, Group Head of Retail Banking at ADIB, said: “Our ambition under Vision 2035 is to build a bank around our customers’ needs, giving them greater choice in how they access our services. Digital convenience and human expertise go hand in hand. The Al Mutarid Branch brings this approach to life, enabling customers to complete everyday transactions efficiently while giving our people more opportunity to provide advice, solve problems and build lasting relationships. Our continued investment in both our branch network and digital capabilities reflects one clear priority: serving our customers better.”
Ahmed Ateeq Al Dhaheri, Head of Branch Network at ADIB, said: “Al Ain is an important market for ADIB, and this opening reflects our continued commitment to the city and its communities. The Al Mutarid Branch gives customers the flexibility to use self-service technology with the reassurance of having our team available to guide and support them. It is a practical evolution of the branch experience, shaped around convenience, accessibility and personal service.”
The Al Mutarid Branch marks another step in the delivery of ADIB’s Vision 2035, translating its investment in technology and people into a more connected banking experience. As customer expectations evolve, ADIB continues to develop its network to bring together the speed of digital banking and the confidence of personal support.
