Roma is preparing for their match against Napoli with a new kit.
For today’s match at 6:00 PM at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, the Giallorossi will take to the field wearing their official third jersey for the first time this season.
The kit has never been used in previous matches by Gian Piero Gasperini’s side. The away match against the Azzurri will therefore offer an opportunity to see a different version of the Roma kit in an important fixture in the Serie A calendar.
Until now, Roma had only used the first two kits from their seasonal collection, alternating between the traditional red and the white one primarily used for away matches.
The home kit has accompanied the Giallorossi in numerous matches, while the away version has served as a chromatic alternative when it was necessary to stand out from their opponents.
The third kit, however, had remained unused in official matches, despite being part of the team’s existing kits.
The Roma lineup is quite reshuffled for the big match against Napoli: Gollini will once again be in goal.
The defense is expected to reassemble the Mancini-Ndicka-Hermoso trio. Lulli and Wesley are expected to operate on the wings, with the former competing against Molina. De Roon and Pisilli will be in midfield, with another play-off between Cristante and Mora in the attacking midfield, with the former slightly favored. Soulé and Malen complete the offensive line.
