GTA 6 could feature hundreds of small interiors, giving players more opportunities to interact with buildings and explore activities outside the main missions. A reported developer demonstration showed Jason and Lucia spending time together before examining a potential robbery target and stealing cash from a back office.
The details were reported by MP1st, citing Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier’s account of a demonstration conducted by Rockstar Games. The examples suggest that interior spaces could serve practical gameplay purposes rather than simply provide locations for missions.

Gym Visits and Robbery
During the reported demonstration, Rockstar development lead Rob Nelson controlled Jason and called Lucia to spend time together. After she arrived, Jason could kiss her through a button interaction. The pair could also hold hands while walking through a park.
Their outing continued at a gym, where Jason performed squats while Lucia used a treadmill. The demonstration then shifted towards a potential criminal opportunity when the characters visited a bank. Jason decided against robbing the bank after assessing its security and finding too many guards.
The pair later entered the back office of a petrol station, where they disabled an alarm and stole money without raising the alert. These examples show how different interiors could support distinct activities. The gym offered separate exercise options, while the bank allowed the characters to assess a target before making a decision.
Red Dead Redemption 2
MP1st reported that Rockstar described ‘hundreds’ of small interiors for players to explore. However, the report did not provide an exact count or confirm how many buildings would support interactive activities. Schreier reportedly felt that Jason and Lucia’s relationship recalled Red Dead Redemption 2 more than GTA 5.
He described them as ‘two people who actually enjoy spending time together ', highlighting a contrast with the more argumentative relationships he associated with GTA 5. The comparison reflects Schreier’s impression of the demonstration rather than an official statement from Rockstar about the game's narrative direction.
Rockstar’s official GTA VI description centres on Jason and Lucia becoming involved in a criminal conspiracy across the fictional state of Leonida after a seemingly easy score goes wrong. Their dependence on each other forms a central part of that premise. The reported demonstration offers an early look at how ordinary activities and smaller interactions could develop that relationship beyond the main criminal storyline.
