Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met Qatar’s Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation in internal security.
During the meeting, the two interior ministers held detailed discussions on expanding cooperation in various internal security-related fields and agreed to further strengthen their security partnership.
The two sides also exchanged views on the prevailing regional situation and matters relating to regional peace and stability. They reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation between the interior ministries of Pakistan and Qatar.
It was decided that mutual cooperation and partnership in internal security would be further strengthened.
“Pakistan and Qatar are working together for regional peace and stability,” Mohsin Naqvi said.
The Qatari interior minister said his country attached great importance to its relations with Pakistan.
