After leaving Saturday's Indiana win late in the game with an injury and showing up on the sideline with his arm in a sling, quarterback Julian Sayin is now out "indefinitely," per coach Ryan Day.
Per ESPN's Pete Thamel on Monday, there is a plan for both Sayin being out in either the regular season and/or the postseason, which hints that this is a significant-enough injury to his throwing arm that he could miss the rest of the year.
Nothing is set in stone, but this is obviously major news for the Buckeyes, who will now turn to a freshman in Luke Fahey for the time being to keep its College Football Playoff hopes alive.

We'll see what happens next with Sayin, but him missing the rest of the season would put the Buckeyes in uncertain waters.
When does Ohio State play next?
The team has a bye week coming up before a road game at USC on Halloween at 7:30 p.m. ET.
