Pokémon Go 'Fall Marathon Buddy Trek' event guide

Pokémon Go’s yearly marathon event runs as "Fall Marathon: Buddy Trek" from Oct. 13-19. This event features the Pokémon Go debut of Bramblin, the tumbleweed Pokémon, as well as the launch of Super Max Manectric.

Starting with this event, Manectric can be Mega Evolved to Super Max Level (the fourth tier) for the first time, and Mega Manectric will know the move Discharge+ when Mega Evolved (even if it's not max level or anything).

Below, we list the other bonuses and perks for Pokémon Go's "Fall Marathon: Buddy Trek" event, as well as how to find Bramblin in the wild.

How to catch Bramblin in Pokémon Go

If you're hunting for a Bramblin during this event, here's where you can find it:

• As an Incense spawn during this event.
• As a reward at rank 30 and 60 in the event Go Pass. You'll get an additional encounter at both level 30 and 60 if you upgrade to the deluxe pass.
• .As a potential reward for the "earn a candy exploring with your buddy" event Field Research.

Bramblin evolves into Brambleghast using 50 Bramblin Candy. Additionally, you'll need to set Bramblin as your buddy and walk 20 km with it before it will be able to evolve.

Bramblin is not available shiny yet.
