The Soundcore P30i earbuds are £26 below their advertised RRP, with adaptive noise cancellation and a charging case that props up your phone.
The limited-time deal cuts the price from an advertised RRP of £49.99 to £23.99, saving £26. For anyone replacing a missing pair or looking for affordable earbuds for commuting, that is an attractive price for a set with app control, fast charging and a useful extra tucked into the case.
The P30i earbuds have a 4.4-star rating from more than 43,000 Amazon reviews, according to the listing. And while the discount is the main draw, the charging case has a trick that could prove handy on your next train journey: it doubles as a phone stand.
Open the panel on the back and it becomes a support for your handset, giving you somewhere to prop up the screen while catching up on a series. It could also come in useful on a desk or kitchen worktop, without needing to carry a separate stand.

For noisy journeys, the bigger attraction is adaptive active noise cancellation. Soundcore says the P30i can reduce noise by up to 42dB, with the system detecting external sound and automatically adjusting the cancellation level.
That is a manufacturer claim rather than a guarantee that every distraction will disappear. However, it is a notable feature at this price, particularly if you want to take the edge off background noise while listening to music or podcasts.
There is also a transparency mode, which lets outside sound through when you need to hear more of your surroundings. That gives you an alternative to full noise cancellation when listening out for an announcement or someone speaking nearby.
Inside, 10mm drivers work with Soundcore’s BassUp technology, which is designed to give music a deeper, punchier low end. App control provides another way to manage the earbuds, while four microphones and an AI algorithm are intended to help pick up your voice during calls.

Battery life needs a little unpacking. The headline figure is up to 45 hours including top-ups from the charging case, with noise cancellation switched off. The earbuds themselves offer up to 10 hours per charge under those conditions.
Bluetooth 5.4, automatic reconnection to the last paired device and an IP54 dust and water-resistance rating round out the package.
Amazon labels the offer a limited-time deal. With £26 off the advertised RRP, the P30i offers a substantial list of features for a relatively small outlay, especially if noise cancellation is high on your wish list.
