Some Arizona State football fans have evidently seen enough.
After Cutter Boley threw an interception that was returned for a touchdown on the first play of the game against Texas Tech on Oct. 17, fans started calling for Kenny Dillingham to make a change at quarterback.
Those cries got louder after Boley threw another interception late in the second quarter. The Red Raiders went down and added a field goal after that interception to make it a 43-10 lead for Texas Tech at the half.
Yes, Arizona State trailed Texas Tech 43-10 after two quarters at Galaxy Stadium in Lubbock, Texas.
Some ASU fans called for backup Mikey Keene to replace Boley in the second half, while others wanted to see freshman Jake Fette. While they might not have agreed on which QB ASU should play next, social media did seem to agree that Arizona State needed to make a change at QB.
Boley finished the first half 5-for-10 for 124 yards with a touchdown pass and two interceptions for the Sun Devils.
Mikey Keene replaced Boley as QB for Arizona State to start the second half.

Social media calls for Arizona State to make change at quarterback:
That throw can’t be inside on an out route. It’s the Arizona State season in one play. Cutter Boley isn’t the answer, Sun Devils. Everyone falls for the big, physical QB, there’s usually a reason they didn’t work out elsewhere 😂 pic.twitter.com/xRRdqQkJAR

Arizona State needs to move on from Cutter Boley at QB. The season is slipping away. The coaching hasn't been very good either. https://t.co/kPxePnc23l

If Boley is the best QB on ASU then the coaching staff needs to be fired for pathetic scouting and development. Half a season in and you're saying Fette isnt better than this?
— Dustin S. (@KamiShadow) October 17, 2026
Boley is just so clearly not the guy. Play Fette at this point and let the young guy learn on the fly for 2027

BENCH CUTTER BOLEY!! @ASUFootball
— Sun Devil Media (@SunDevilMedia16) October 17, 2026
It's time, Coach Kenny. The first thing viewers saw when Fox finally cuts into the ASU game was a cutter boley pick 6.
— Randy (@rclar_) October 17, 2026
It's time to have that conversation, Coach Kenny.
ok, I’ve seen enough of Boley, let’s try somebody else! 🤬#ForksUp
— Stigg O'Tracy (@lowly_switchman) October 17, 2026
This offense needs the threat of qb running. Keene is more that guy. See if he can bring some juice to offense, it’s just not working with Boley
— Robbie Smith (@iowaDevil42) October 17, 2026
I just don’t believe that Boley is the QB that gives us the best chance of winning.
— Doug (@The_DougBrown) October 17, 2026
No chance.
At what point is it on Dilly for not benching Cutter Boley? #ForksUp 🔱
— Patrick Kaplan (@PatrickKaplan13) October 17, 2026
I don’t understand why Dilly doesn’t bench Boley.

@KennyDillingham I love you, Sun Devil nation loves you. But please, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, get Cutter Boley out from under center. He isn’t the guy. He hasn’t been the guy since halftime of the A&M game. Bench him and let him go to the portal in the offseason. Anyone but him, plz
— Rod Tidwell (@RodTidwell96) October 17, 2026
Kenny, please put Keene or Fette in! Boley is killing this team and hurting our future
