The Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans got us started on Sunday morning with another wild finish in London. We saw plenty of notable performances for fantasy football managers. Here are the key takeaways from the Texans' 34-31 victory over the Jags.
Houston Texans
C.J. Stroud
After three shaky games to start 2026, Stroud is back on track, at least for fantasy managers. He's put together three straight games of at least 20 fantasy points, culminating in his Week 6 performance — 312 yards, three TDs and one INT for 23.98 fantasy points.
What was most impressive was Stroud's poise in the pocket; he didn't take a sack after taking 14 through five games. The Jacksonville defense was expected to give Stroud and the Houston offense issues. With so many weapons at his disposal, which we'll cover more in this piece, Stroud feels like a safer low-end QB1 with a stretch of very winnable matchups upcoming (Giants, Chargers, Browns, Colts).
Jaylin Noel
This had less to do with Noel's role in the offense and more about his ability as a playmaker. Noel only had four targets but caught all of them for 107 yards and a score, good for 18.7 fantasy points. Those numbers should have Noel in the WR3 coversation for Week 6 when the dust settles. He had a 13-yard TD in the red zone and also had a long grab of 50 yards.
Stroud had 10 different targets in this game, including newly-acquired WR Marvin Harrison Jr. (3-34-0, 4 targets). But Noel has 9-148-2 over the past two weeks, emerging as the clear No. 2 option in the passing game, at least as Harrison settles in, behind Nico Collins (3-74-0). Noel is going to be a popular waiver wire add for Week 7, looking like a solid WR3/flex option.

Houston run game
With David Montgomery out, the keys to the run game were handed to Woody Marks. Or so we thought. While Marks was the clear lead back, using 17 touches (2 catches) to rack up 81 yards (9.1 FPTS), Jawhar Jordon also saw six carries for 43 yards, including a 25-yard TD run (11.5 FPTS). It's a frustrating outcome for Marks managers in what should be viewed as a mixed performance.
Jacksonville Jaguars
Travis Hunter
We'll start with Hunter because … well, finally. Hunter spent most of his rookie season injured. And through the first five weeks of 2026, only had two catches for 17 yards, playing almost exclusively on defense (he entered Week 6 with 21 total snaps on offense). But things shifted on Sunday in London.
Hunter made plays on both sides of the ball, becoming the first player in 24 years to record an INT and a receiving TD in the same game. Not only did Hunter catch all four of his targets for 59 yards and the score, but he also had three tackles (one solo), a pass defensed and the pick. In a league that counts defensive stats, Hunter finished with 19.9 fantasy points (13.9 in regular half-PPR formats).
It's unclear if Hunter will continue to see more usage on offense. But based off this game, you'd have to think Liam Coen fires up more packages including Hunter. In IDP leagues that count offensive stats, Hunter is a must-add off waivers. In deeper half-PPR leagues, Hunter is a proactive pickup given his talent and upside as the Jaguars head into their bye.
Jacksonville run game
On the other side of this matchup, we saw another running back split that has had managers pulling hair. Thankfully, Bhayshul Tuten's role in the passing game lifted him in Week 6. He was outpaced on the ground by Chris Rodriguez Jr., who had 11 carries for 55 yards. But Tuten had more carries (12) and caught four balls for 48 yards and two TDs, finishing with 22.7 FPTS.
It was the rare game we saw Tuten more productive in the air than on the ground. We know he'll maintain the third-down, pass-catching role, which will give him a great floor. While C-Rod is going to get his touches, this is the first game all season he's had double-digit carries. If this type of split does become more of the norm, it could prevent Tuten from reaching true RB1 status. Still, Tuten has double-digit FPTS in five straight games, and is one of the safer RB2 options in fantasy so far this season. That buy-low window on Tuten might have closed.
Trevor Lawrence
We'll do a quick mention of the Jags QB, who should finish as a QB1 in fantasy this week after tossing four TDs with over 300 yards. Lawrence could have had an even better day if he didn't throw a pick in the end zone. You'll need a replacement next week with Jacksonville on bye, but after that, Lawrence has one of the best remaining schedules for fantasy. He can safely be started as a QB1 the rest of the way. Don't overthink things.
