Ron Funches is back with another stand-up comedy special.
The comic, actor and fan-favorite from “The Traitors” will debut his new hour, “Eat Cookies & Die,” on the indie comedy streamer Gorilla Comedy+ on Nov. 2. The special will then launch on YouTube on Dec. 1.
Funches is in “top form” in “Eat Cookies & Die,” per the description. “Laying bare the trials of trying to be a better dad, staying in shape, divorce, and love, it’s a hilarious and poignant hour of comedy as only Ron can deliver.”
“I’m excited to share the most intimate, honest, and hilarious hour of stand-up I’ve ever created with the help of the talented, comedy-loving team at 800 Pound Gorilla,” Funches said in a statement.
“Eat Cookies & Die” marks Funches’ second hour-long special, following his Comedy Central hour “Giggle Fit” in 2019. Prior to that, he debuted a half-hour special in 2014.
Off stage, Funches is known for his roles in Apple TV’s “Loot,” “Kroll Show” and “Trolls.” His credits also include the Fox sitcom “New Girl,” Pixar’s blockbuster sequel “Inside Out 2” and the DC adult animated superhero series “Harley Quinn.” He’ll next be seen in “The Kellys” alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, Geena Davis and Liam Hemsworth, and he’ll be heard in Disney’s animated supernatural fantasy film “Hexed.”
Funches is perhaps most beloved, though, for his faithful turn on Season 4 of “The Traitors,” on which he clashed with “The Real Housewives of New York City” alum Dorinda Medley and was banished in Episode 6.
