The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has outlined the procedure for changing photographs and permanent addresses on Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) through its PakID mobile application.
According to NADRA, citizens can submit applications from home by accessing the identity card services available on the app.
To begin the process, applicants must log in to the PakID app and select the “Identity Card” option from the home screen. They must then choose “Myself” to apply for their own CNIC or “My Blood Relatives” to submit an application for an eligible blood relative.
After selecting the relevant option, applicants must choose “Update Card” to proceed with updating their identity card details. They can then modify the required information and complete the application process through the app.
The online facility allows citizens to request changes to their CNIC information without visiting a NADRA registration center to submit the application.
