Has Elizabeth Hurley officially captured the the previously achy breaky heart of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus? The 65-year-old father of Miley Cyrus and the 61-year-old star of Serving Sara hard-launched their relationship on Easter Sunday, 2025, and the pair have been seemingly inseparable ever since. Recently, Hurley was spotted wearing a large diamond on that finger, suggesting the couple has taken their pairing to the next level—a rumor fueled by a post to Instagram published by Cyrus Friday that was capped by the engagement ring emoji.
According to Page Six, which cited unnamed sources, Cyrus recently “popped the question” and Hurley responded in the affirmative. That news seems bolstered by Cyrus's Instagram post, which was soundtracked by Mark Collie's “Something with a Ring to It."
“This is the most fertile solid ground I have stood on in a long time,” he wrote, following that claim with a list of recent and upcoming professional accomplishments. ”Kinda has a ring 💍 to it,” he ended the post.

In the comments was Hurley's 24-year old son with Steve Bing, actor and model Damian Hurley. “SO EXCITED ❤️❤️❤️,” the scion wrote.
This will be the fourth marriage for Cyrus, who was married to Cindy Smith from 1986 to 1991, to Tish Finleyfrom 1993 to 2023, and to Australian singer Firerose the year following, a union that ended after 10 months.

Cyrus and Hurley first met on the set of the 2022 holiday film Christmas in Paradise and reconnected in February 2025. Speaking with People, Cyrus said that despite the clearly evident differences between the posh British actor and the down-home American singer, they have a lot in common. “There was something in the opposites of us, I think, that maybe not only got other people’s attention but even our own,” he said.
“And I’ve never seen anybody that, in some ways, has more in common with the insanity that I have lived through in this crazy show business. Then mix in other personal, good things and tragedies — she’s like me.”
