World Cup-winning Springbok flyhalf Handré Pollard may guard his personal life carefully, but enough has filtered through on social media to reveal a lifestyle that matches his standing as one of South African rugby's most recognisable figures.
The Pollards have been spotted with a Lexus NX, a luxury family SUV that sits comfortably within the premium segment of the market. That choice of vehicle is consistent with his broader commercial associations. Pollard has maintained partnerships with SMG Motor Group and Jaguar Land Rover, aligning him with some of the most prestigious names in the automotive industry.
His social media accounts offer further glimpses into a life shaped by elite sport and high-end travel. Desert retreats in Dubai, international rugby commitments, and family holidays to far-flung destinations paint a picture of someone operating at the intersection of sport and luxury lifestyle. October last year added a deeply personal milestone when Pollard and his wife, Marise, welcomed their second child, a moment the couple shared warmly with their online following.
On the financial side, Pollard's income draws from several sources. His contract with the Vodacom Bulls, Springbok match fees, and earnings from previous stints abroad combine to produce reported annual figures of between R13 million and R14 million, according to Florugby.
His endorsement portfolio reinforces that commercial clout. Pollard counts Nike and Land Rover among his partners, and serves as a brand ambassador for Invictus VSOP Cape Brandy, a premium South African spirit. The brandy partnership in particular signals the kind of social currency he carries beyond the rugby field, making him an appealing face for brands targeting aspirational consumers.
Marise has built her own commercial presence alongside her husband, with deals linked to premium lifestyle brands that complement the couple's joint public image. Together, they represent a household that has successfully converted sporting achievement into a durable commercial brand.
