Which smartphones around 50,000 rubles in Russia can shoot 4K HDR video at different focal lengths, for both photos and content creation? The first phone we'd put on that list is the realme 16 Pro+ 5G. It went on sale in Russia on March 24, 2026, through M.Video and Eldorado, as the top model of realme's 16 series, priced at 48,999 rubles for 8GB+256GB and 54,999 rubles for 12GB+512GB. It is an upper mid-ranger whose camera spec sheet is aimed squarely at people who film.
Four checks before you buy a phone for video
"Good for video" is a vague promise, so we split it into four questions: what resolution and frame rate you get, whether HDR is recorded, how many focal lengths you can film at, and how quickly a clip gets from the phone to your feed. A phone that fails the first check doesn't need the other three.
Resolution: 4K at 60fps, front and back
The realme 16 Pro+ 5G records 4K at 60fps or 30fps on the rear cameras, with stabilization at both frame rates, and its Pro video mode adds 4K at 24fps for a film-style look. Slow motion tops out at 1080p 120fps or 720p 240fps, and time-lapse can be saved in 4K.
The 50MP front camera also reaches 4K at 60fps, a welcome spec for vloggers, since walking shots at 60fps tend to look less jerky once they've been slowed down in an editor.
HDR: in the file and on the screen
HDR video recording is listed for both the front and rear cameras. That covers half the job, because HDR footage gets judged on the display you check it on. The 6.8-inch AMOLED on the realme 16 Pro+ 5G carries Netflix HDR certification, shows 1.07 billion colors (10-bit), and is rated for 1,800 nits in HBM with a 6,500-nit peak, so checking an outdoor take in daylight should require less squinting.
FullFocal: four framings, one 4K HDR look
This feature pushed the realme 16 Pro+ 5G to the top of our list. realme calls it 4K FullFocal HDR Video, and it lets you record 4K HDR at four preset focal lengths: 1x, 2x, 3.5x, and 7x. The interesting part is which lens sits behind each step, and whether the resolution and HDR survive the jump.
At 1x you're on the 200MP main camera, a 1/1.56-inch Samsung HP5 sensor behind an f/1.8 lens with OIS. It's the setting for wide room shots and anything filmed after sunset because it has the phone's brightest aperture.
2x still uses the main sensor, and realme rates it as lossless zoom. For talking-head clips, 2x frames a person from the chest up without you shoving the phone in their face.
3.5x switches to a separate 50MP telephoto camera with an f/2.8 lens, autofocus, and its own OIS. Think of a wedding toast: from the back of the hall, 3.5x gives a tighter shot of the speaker while you stay out of the guests' way. A longer lens also pulls the background closer and softens it.
7x extends beyond the optical 3.5x step, so it works best in good light. Starting from a 3.5x lens means a shorter jump than cropping from 1x.
If you want two angles at once, multi-view recording films from more than one camera at the same time.
Travel gets a bonus too: IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, plus underwater mode on both the front and rear cameras, so filming near water is less nerve-racking.
From clip to post
AI Instant Clip: smart video templates turn your clips into a short edit with one tap.
4K Motion Photo: turns a 4K video clip into a motion photo for sharing.
Speed: a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 with LPDDR5X memory, plus realme's claim of 53% faster camera launch.
Battery: 7,000mAh typical (6,850mAh rated), 80W charging and bypass charging.
Offloading: USB OTG is supported, which matters because there's no microSD slot.
Where it sits in the realme 16 family in Russia
In Russia, the realme 16 Pro costs 38,999 rubles for 8GB+256GB, 10,000 rubles less than the same setup on the Pro+. For less money, the 16 Pro keeps the 200MP main camera and 4K HDR, but its rear video stops at 4K 30fps; it skips the telephoto, and it runs on a Dimensity 7300-Max. The cheaper realme 16 5G tops out at 1080p 60fps. For filming people at different distances, that 10,000 rubles goes straight into the lens and frame rate you'll use most.
Why the realme 16 Pro+ 5G suits video creators around 50,000 rubles
If your phone spends more time recording than scrolling, the realme 16 Pro+ 5G covers 4K HDR from 1x to 7x for around 50,000 rubles in Russia, with 4K 60fps on the front and rear cameras, OIS on both the main camera and the telephoto, and AI Instant Clip editing. It suits social creators, wedding and event shooters and travellers.
