Penn State will be taking the week off from college football action, but the start time for its next game is now locked in.
Penn State's home game against Purdue on Halloween will be played in the mid-afternoon time slot. The start time has been set for 4:15 p.m. ET and the game will air on Big Ten Network as part of the network's regional coverage options.
Other games in the same TV window include Indiana's home game against Minnesota on CBS, Oregon's home game against Northwestern on Peacock, and UCLA's home non-conference matchup with Nevada, which will also air on Big Ten Network.

This will be Penn State's second time appearing on Big Ten Network this season. Penn State previously played on Big Ten Network in Week 3 in a blowout win over Buffalo.
Purdue will also be coming off a bye week, and will actually be getting an extra day of rest ahead of the game. The Boilermakers played on Friday night last weekend, losing at home to Washington by a score of 38-26. Purdue is 3-4 this season and is 2-2 in Big Ten play. Purdue's offense has seen some productive outings by rising star running back Fame Ijeboi (568 rushing yards, 9 touchdowns) and Ryan Browne is among the Big Ten's passing leaders with 1,822 yards and 10 touchdowns this season.
Penn State will be coming off a bye week following a four-game losing streak in Big Ten play. The time off comes at a good time for the Nittany Lions, who are working to fix a number of issues with the offense. The running game has struggled to get going in the first half of their season, and Rocco Becht has come under fire for his turnovers in the last few weeks.
