Six Moroccan provinces brace for thunderstorms, possible hail

Morocco’s weather service has issued an orange-level alert for thunderstorms, with possible hail and wind gusts, in six provinces on Friday.

Rainfall of 20 to 30 millimeters is expected in Guercif, Midelt, Al Hoceima, Taza, Driouch, and Ifrane, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM).

These weather conditions are expected today between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m.
