AN armed gang stole 30 watches and four designer handbags worth hundreds of thousands of euros during a brazen raid on a luxury resale shop in Sotogrande.
Four men with their faces uncovered stormed Bag A Lux just after midday on Thursday, holding two female workers at gunpoint before locking them in a bathroom.
The robbers reportedly spent just five minutes inside the shop before making off with their haul.
According to Diario Area, one of the men initially knocked on the door pretending to be a customer while the other three waited in nearby bushes.

When a worker opened the door, all four rushed inside and began the heist.
A sales assistant and a cleaner were inside the premises at the time.
Both were threatened with guns and locked in the bathroom so they could not press the panic button, the shop’s management said.
CCTV footage appears to show the quartet rustling through draws and cupboards to locate the luxury goods.
The thieves copped 30 high-end watches from brands including Rolex, Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet.
They also took four designer handbags, including pieces made from crocodile and ostrich skin.
The workers were also targeted, with the gang stealing €600 in cash and a Pandora ring worn by one of the women.

One of the shop’s managers said the robbers appeared to know exactly what they wanted, suggesting the raid had been carefully planned and may have been carried out by an organised criminal gang.
The manager also took aim at security around Sotogrande’s port, claiming the Guardia Civil took around 15 minutes to arrive from a nearby base.
“For a port where we pay so much and look for a bit of security, frankly we are a bit surprised,” he said.
The Guardia Civil have launched an investigation into the incident.
