Temporary roadworks at L.F. Wade International Airport will “affect passenger pick-up and drop-off arrangements, bus services, and short-term parking availability for approximately one week, beginning 20 October 2026.”
A spokesperson said, “The following adjustments will be in place:
1. Passenger Pick-Ups and Drop-Offs
“Passenger pick-ups and drop-offs will take place in a designated area within the short-term parking lot. Motorists are asked to follow the on-site signage and not wait in the pick-up and drop-off area to help maintain a smooth flow of traffic.
2. Bus Services
“The bus route will run through the short-term parking lot, where a temporary bus stop will be located.
3. Short-Term Parking
“Parking availability will be reduced while the roadworks are underway. To help maximise available parking, motorists are asked to limit their use of the short-term parking lot to 15 minutes and use the long-term parking lot for longer stays.
“Members of the public are encouraged to reduce speed when approaching the airport, exercise caution in the affected area, and follow all posted signage and on-site instructions.
“We appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation.”
