A terrifying Los Angeles road rage attack was caught on camera as a woman allegedly went on a crowbar-wielding rampage against another driver before biting her in a vicious street brawl.
Samantha Baez-Vargas, of South LA, said the confrontation erupted around 4 a.m. Saturday when the two women found themselves unable to squeeze past each other on a narrow, one-way street.
Baez-Vargas insisted the other driver was going the wrong way and asked her to back up. Instead, the woman allegedly grabbed a crowbar and began laying waste to her car.
Video shows the suspect calmly approaching Baez-Vargas’ vehicle before smashing its headlights, windshield and driver’s-side window.
“Are you deada–? What’s wrong with you?” someone can be heard screaming in the background.
When Baez-Vargas got out of her car, the suspect allegedly turned the weapon on her, striking her with the crowbar and repeatedly trying to bite her.
“I didn’t know how to react. I was shocked. I didn’t know how to defend myself,” Baez-Vargas told Fox 11. “After the fact, I was in the hospital. I felt like I could have lost my life.”

She showed the station bruises covering her body, including marks that appeared consistent with bites.
“I thought she would stop and she didn’t,” Baez-Vargas added. “She smacked me in the head with the crowbar at that point, and she snatched my phone out of my hand.”
The footage was turned over to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, which said investigators have identified the suspect and are working to track her down.
“South Los Angeles Station detectives have been actively investigating this case and have positively identified the suspect. Detectives are currently working to locate and apprehend her,” the department said in a statement.
The California Post reached out to the sheriff’s department for any more details on the identity of the suspect.
The incident has shook Baez-Vargas to the core, she said. Her mother, Elizabeth Vargas, is pleading for the public’s help in finding the suspect.
“Please do your job. This evil can’t be out there,” the mother said.
