Michigan State football's injury luck has not gotten any better.
Starting quarterback Alessio Milivojevic will miss Saturday's game against No. 10 UCLA, according to ESPN's Pete Thamel. No official injury was disclosed.
Backup quarterback Cam Fancher already remains out, setting up a start for first-year freshman Kayd Coffman, who served as the No. 2 quarterback the past two weeks in losses to Illinois and Northwestern. Coffman got his first snaps as a college player late in MSU’s loss at Wisconsin after Fancher got hurt and left the game with an apparent knee injury.
The Spartans also will play again without linebacker and captain Jordan Hall for the fourth game this season. Cornerbacks Tre Bell, Tyran Chappell and Charles Brantley, and wide receiver Charles Taplin also are listed as out.
Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. (CBS) at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.
