As October comes to a close and leaves fall from the trees, Xbox Game Pass is shedding more titles as a sign that this month is almost up. Xbox has revealed the second wave of titles leaving the subscription service on Oct. 31 (spooky), and while the list may be short, it has some absolute bangers you'll want to check out while you can.
2026 has been a great year for Star Wars games between Galactic Racer (what other game has Biddy Blas?) and Zero Company, though before these we had Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. The 2022 title includes all nine main films in charming Lego style, complete with the Lego games' signature co-op fun. The Skywalker Saga is one of the best Star Wars games, full stop. Grab a friend and marathon through it; you won't regret it.
In addition to The Skywalker Saga, the newly independent (again) Double Fine has two point-and-click adventure games leaving the subscription service. These are Day of the Tentacle Remastered and Full Throttle Remastered. Tomb Raider fans should check out the isometric Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, which is also slated to leave. The rest of the games set to be removed from Game Pass on Halloween are Dead Static Drive, Deep Rock Galactic, Wartales, and Wildgate.
All Xbox Game Pass titles removed in October 2026 first wave
On Oct. 15, the first round of titles set to leave Xbox Game Pass this month were removed. The biggest loss was Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, the turn-based RPG that was last year's GOTY darling. Here's the rest of the Oct. 15 list:
- A Plague Tale: Requiem
- Crime Scene Cleaner
- Donut County
- Evil West
- Nova Roma
- Pacific Drive
- Superball
- The Casting of Frank Stone
Game Pass is in a state of flux right now as Xbox CEO Asha Sharma seeks to right the company's proverbial ship. Earlier this month, Windows Central obtained an internal memo in which Sharma reiterated that Microsoft's Game Pass strategy sent Xbox into "freefall." Ongoing changes aim to make the service better value for players while avoiding a drain on company resources.
