The South Shore League and Patriot League are teaming up for a new all-star series that will let the top athletes from the two high school leagues square off in head-to-head competition.
For the 2026-27 school year, athletes will compete in soccer, basketball, baseball and softball, according to a community announcement. The series is designed to recognize athletes from across the region and bring players from the two leagues together in competition.
Rockland High School athletic director Dan Kimball called the partnership a new opportunity for the leagues' athletes.
“This partnership is a tremendous opportunity for our student-athletes,” Kimball said. “It gives the best players from two outstanding high school athletic leagues the chance to compete together, represent their league and school, and create an experience they will remember long after their high school careers are over. This is long overdue.”
