Hotels and resorts are rolling out packages that combine theme park admission with overnight stays, adding food, beverage and activity perks to attract family visitors during the peak autumn outing season.
Legoland Korea Resort is running a "24-Hour Stay Package" through Nov. 16 that lets guests stay at its hotel for up to 24 hours, according to the hotel and resort industry on the 25th. Check-in has been moved up to 1 p.m. from 4 p.m. and check-out pushed back to 1 p.m. from 11 a.m., extending room use by up to five hours. The package includes a one-day park pass and breakfast for all guests. It is available Monday through Thursday, limited to 10 rooms a day.
The resort has also launched a stay package tied to its autumn festival. The "Monster Race Package," limited to 300 rooms, combines a one-night hotel stay, a park pass, a breakfast buffet and Lego products. Guests can choose to visit the park either on the day of check-in or the following day. The hotel is also staging performances exclusively for guests, offering entertainment beyond the rides.
Hotels are also teaming up with nearby theme parks. AC Hotel by Marriott Seoul Geumjeong is offering its "AC Stay and Play" package through Nov. 30, combining two Seoul Land all-day passes with a room stay and food and beverage benefits. The package includes chicken karaage and drinks, along with a check-out extension to 2 p.m. The Seoul Land tickets are valid through the end of this year, allowing guests to schedule their park visit separately from their hotel stay.
Integrated resorts are building stay packages around their own attractions. Paradise City on Yeongjong Island in Incheon sold a package pairing hotel rooms with passes to its indoor theme park, Wonderbox, during a "Super Week" promotion that ran from the 12th to the 21st. It included Wonderbox passes for two adults and two children and 30,000 won in resort money, with the room package valid for stays through Feb. 28 next year. The resort also offered packages linked to its Cimer spa and breakfast.
Lotte Hotel World is running stay packages through the end of this year that connect Lotte World Adventure, Lotte World Aquarium and Seoul Sky. They include the "World Signature," which combines a one-night stay, a comprehensive Lotte World Adventure pass and a breakfast buffet, as well as packages bundling Magic Pass, which cuts waiting times at popular rides.
