Randi Mahomes will bring one of the main in-person activities of her Sports Parent Academy to Miami.

Randi Mahomes is bringing her experience as the mother of a professional athlete to a new stage. Patrick Mahomes' mother will host the Ultimate Sports Parent Experience: Miami Edition, a gathering organized alongside Sports Parent Academy and Katalyst Fit that will take place next Saturday, October 24, at Fontainebleau Miami Beach. The event will begin at 2:00 in the afternoon and will run until 6:00 PM.

 The proposal is aimed at parents, young athletes, and families who want to learn about other experiences related to sports development and the decisions that accompany a child or adolescent during their training.

Randi personally announced the appointment through her social media and explained that the gathering aims to bring together athletes and families to share stories, conversations, and experiences related to sports.

What will the Ultimate Sports Parent Experience in Miami offer?

Activities will begin at 2:00 PM, with families entering, interactive experiences, a kids' zone, food and drinks, and various offerings from sponsors.

Starting at 3:30 PM, the main stage will open. A conversation with Randi Mahomes, is scheduled there, along with panels featuring local athletes, specialists, and parents of professional athletes. The program also includes a question-and-answer session with the audience.

Among the topics to be addressed are athletic performance, recruiting, NIL, family dynamics, and life after competition. The organization is also planning activities so that parents and children can participate together during the afternoon.

Tickets are priced at $150 for one adult and two children, while each additional minor costs $35.

Randi Mahomes turns her family experience into an academy

The Miami event is part of the expansion of Sports Parent Academy, an initiative that Randi Mahomes launched in 2025. The project was created as a platform aimed at parents of young athletes and seeks to offer tools to help navigate some of the decisions and challenges that arise during athletic development.

The proposal addresses different stages of an athlete's journey and offers content related to aspects such as training, nutrition, sports psychology, scholarships, and recruiting.

Much of the experience Randi shares comes from her own family. She accompanied Patrick Mahomes throughout his years as an athlete up to his college years at Texas Tech and later his arrival in the NFL, where he became one of the leading figures of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Now she uses that journey to speak with other families going through similar situations, even though their children are still far from professional sports.

Miami will be the project's second stop

The Miami event will not be the first in-person experience organized by Sports Parent Academy. In July, Randi took part in Lubbock, Texas, in the first Ultimate Sports Parent Experience, an event focused on the relationship between parents and young athletes.

At that event, Mahomes shared her experience as the mother of a high-level athlete and spoke about the importance of families supporting their children throughout their athletic development.

Now the project comes to Miami Beach with a four-hour event that will combine conversations, panels, and activities for the whole family.

The event will take place on October 24 at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, just one day before Patrick Mahomes' Kansas City Chiefs visit the Seattle Seahawks. The quarterback's attendance at the event has not been confirmed.
