Hyundai Greenfood (453340) said on the 13th that it has signed an agreement with senior care provider Caring to support employees caring for elderly family members.
Under the agreement, Hyundai Greenfood employees can use Caring's directly operated care services nationwide at discounted rates. Caregivers visit homes to assist with daily activities such as meals, medication and personal hygiene.
The company will also offer a service in which Caring staff accompany elderly family members to hospital appointments, covering transportation, consultations, payment and the return trip, for employees unable to go themselves. The service is free for up to eight hours a year.
Counseling support will be expanded as well. A dedicated help desk will guide employees through the process of applying for long-term care benefit grades and explain which care services best fit their family's circumstances. Employees can also receive one free in-person consultation a year with a Caring specialist holding social worker certification.
