A clip from a late-night comedy segment has resurfaced on Facebook, and it is sending fans into absolute hysterics all over again. In it, comedian Trevor Noah sits across from Jimmy Fallon on a studio set, competing in a game called the "Impression Generator," where randomised prompts determine who they impersonate and how. The clip was filmed in the US roughly seven years ago, but it has found a whole new audience.
The moment everyone is talking about is Noah's take on a first-time stoned Donald Trump. He slips into character almost instantly, mimicking the former US president in a hazy, disoriented state. "So amazing. So amazing. I can feel it hitting me in all different places," Noah deadpans in Trump's signature cadence. The bit escalates when a mock Melania voice interrupts, asking why Trump is smoking during the day, sending the audience into fits of laughter. The punchline? "Make great again. Make everything great again."
Noah, who is best known internationally for his decade-long run as host of The Daily Show, was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and has always brought a sharp, culturally layered eye to American politics. His ability to slide between accents, tones, and mannerisms without missing a beat is exactly what fans are gushing about in the comments.
Fans Cannot Get Enough
The clip has drawn a flood of reactions from people who are clearly watching it for the very first time and from those revisiting it years later.
Fernando Dos Santos wrote: "Trevor Noah how come you switch accents so quickly, easily and smoothly? That's amazing brother. The Melania part hit me.. L.O.L"
Phumlani Mngxitama said: "It's just turned into Family guy script 😂🤣"
Cat Baldry commented: "This will never stop being mindblowingly hilarious and accurate."
Somayya Kader added: "The both of you rocked the Donald Trump impressions🤣"
Holly Boulay simply put it: "Trevor, you rock my world! You are SO funny 😆"
