Earlier this year, when designer Victoria Beckham released her inaugural collection for Gap, it sold out almost as fast as it landed. Shoppers vied to get their hands on the iconic brand’s heritage denim, button-downs, khakis, and hoodies, all reworked with the sharp tailoring and sleek silhouettes Beckham is known for.
On October 23, Gap and Victoria Beckham are returning with the second collection that carries that same signature polish into pieces for the colder months ahead, this time building upon it with cozy knits and statement outerwear. “I wanted to explore proportion, silhouette and color, balancing structure with an elevated sense of ease,” Beckham shares with Vogue. “I was inspired by the idea of taking Gap’s familiar wardrobe staples and reinterpreting them through my own design lens.”

The collaboration was always meant to be a multi-season partnership, and this second chapter really leans into the evolution of the line, with layering leading the way. Among the 37 pieces, you’ll find simple button-front turtlenecks, oversized half-zips and chunky ribbed zip-ups in cashmere, merino and Gap’s CashSoft, all designed with roomy proportions and plenty of texture. The outerwear includes a selection of high-necked parkas that cinch at the waist, plus cropped bombers in deep green and burgundy.
The color palette of jammy reds and emerald greens suits the season, but also have a close tie to Gap’s hometown of San Francisco. “The color palette draws inspiration from the works in the Doris and Donald Fisher Collection at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art,” Beckham shares. Their art selection is peppered with Alexander Calder mobiles, Ellsworth Kelly canvases, and Gerhard Richter paintings, works that offer plenty of reference material, naturally.

“Victoria often starts with art when she’s designing, and the Doris and Donald Fisher Collection at SFMOMA gave us a natural place to begin. Works by Claes Oldenburg, Cy Twombly and Agnes Martin inspired the rich browns and deep greens you see throughout the collection,” president and CEO of Gap Mark Breitbard tells Vogue. “It’s meaningful to see our founders’ love of art come through in a way that feels authentic to both Gap and Victoria.”
Pieces made for winter nights in and out complete the lineup, with cozy sweats, including the signature Gap logo hoodie, and a high-neck black dress in the mix. There are also deep green corduroys and belted wide-leg trousers in olive and burgundy, all very fitting for holiday dressing.
And then there are the jeans, of course, which Beckham reworked with her own point of view. She included a ’90s-inspired high-rise straight leg, a staple in her personal wardrobe, and a baggier drawstring style, expanding on Gap’s denim offering, which has been on a hot streak since the release of viral Hailey Bieber jean. There’s a crisp white T-shirt and button-down to pair with them.
Prices range from $118 for a merino turtleneck to $368 for outerwear, a little higher in price range than the first, with most of the denim landing around $120. But, if the first chapter is any indication, shoppers will move fast on this, too, so consider this your cue to set that alarm.
