NFL head coaches are known for their attention to detail. It takes a lot of focus to manage all the moving parts of a football game. And if there's one detail every head coach should know, it's the kick-receive situation for the second half.
Jets head coach Aaron Glenn somehow messed that up on Sunday.
As the Jets and Patriots went into the locker room at halftime in their Week 6 game at Gillette Stadium, Glenn joined CBS for an interview. He broke down what the Jets needed to do to get back into the game, but he seemed to think New York was receiving the ball in the second half.
The problem: The Patriots would get the ball.
Aaron Glenn: "The good thing is, we get the ball. We get a chance to go move it and finish."

Now, the Jets did turn the Patriots over on downs to start the second half, so Glenn did eventually figure out the proper game sequence.
Still, that's not a mistake any coach should be making.
