The Oklahoma City Thunder will host the LA Clippers on Sunday. This is the first matchup between the two squads in the 2026-27 regular season. This is also the first night of a back-to-back for OKC.
The Thunder (2-0) are off to a superb start. They had an ugly 96-84 win over the Denver Nuggets in their home opener on Thursday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander saw his historic 20-point streak end as he had just 17 points on 6-of-19 shooting.
Meanwhile, the Clippers (1-1) had a 125-117 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday. Darius Garland went off for 26 points and six assists. Brook Lopez also had a throwback-esque 22 points off the bench.
The Thunder enter relatively healthy. Nikola Topic (back surgery) is out. Thomas Sorber (back surgery) is out. Otega Oweh (not with team) is out.
Meanwhile, the Clippers are pretty beat up. But that shouldn't be a surprise. Brandon Ingram (heel surgery) is out. Bradley Beal (knee surgery management) is out. Max Strus (torn plantar fascia) is out. Yanic Konan Niederhauser (Lisfranc injury) is out. Jordan Miller (torn rotator cuff) is out.
Tipoff from Oklahoma City is set for 6 p.m. CT.
