TGL will be expanding by 11 players for its third season, adding one team and one full-time player per team.
The indoor golf league, co-founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, announced its full rosters for Season 3, which opens Dec. 27 at SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens. The league will include 35 players — seven teams with five players each — of which 20 are among the current top 50 in the Official World Golf Rankings.
That list includes the second through sixth best players in the world — McIlroy, Matt Fitzpatrick, Cameron Young, Wyndham Clark and Chris Gotterup.
Expansion team Motor City Golf Club will be led by five-time major champion Brooks Koepka of Jupiter. He will be joined by Jackson Koivun, Jake Knapp, Si Woo Kim and Bud Cauley. All will be playing TGL for the first time.
Other full-time newcomers include Atlanta's Gotterup and Michael Brennan, Boston's Michael Thorbjornsen, Jupiter's Akshay Bhatia and Keith Mitchell, L.A.'s Ben James, New York's Alex Fitzpatrick and Ben Griffin, and The Bay's Ryan Fox and Blades Brown.
Players who have left TGL: Lucas Glover, Adam Scott, Xander Schauffele, Kevin Kisner.
Additionally, Shane Lowry was involved in TGL's first trade, going to Boston for Ryan Fox, both having won a major championship. Lowry joins friend and fellow Irishman McIlroy in Boston. Both live in Jupiter.
The 35 players on TGL's rosters have combined for 38 major championships, 257 PGA Tour victories and 114 combined Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup appearances.
TGL's season starts Dec. 27. Last season's opening night featured the two teams from the previous year's final, defending champion Atlanta and New York. If the league follows the same schedule, opening day would feature Woods' Jupiter team against defending champion L.A.
Woods missed the entire 2026 season as he recovered from back surgery, with the exception of the final match in which L.A. clinched the title. Three days later, he was charged with DUI following a crash on Jupiter Island and has not swung a club competitively since.
Woods pleaded no contest Sept. 2 to the reduced charge of reckless, willful driving, which came with a five-year license suspension.
