It is the celebrity trial that has gripped the world.
Dressed in a fitted grey suit and dark sunglasses, 'sexual predator' Russell Brand appeared at Southwark Crown Court hand-in-hand with his devoted wife Laura Gallacher last Monday to mark the beginning of his court case.
The 51-year-old comedian is on trial for rape and sexual assault after being accused by six women of sexual abuse allegations spanning ten years from 1999 to 2009.
Now, as we head into week two of the explosive court case, jurors heard Brand described as a ruthless 'sexual predator', with his first alleged victim saying he turned 'monster-like' before raping her.
On Friday, a second woman gave evidence from behind a blue screen, recounting how Brand had allegedly sexually assaulted her within the MTV offices in 2001.
Jurors also heard from a former flatmate who spoke of Brand's 'huge preoccupation' for sex and his fixation on 'getting someone in bed'.
The actor denies all of the charges, and as he arrived at court last week described the case as an 'extraordinary and stressful situation'.
Our Daily Mail journalists Rebecca Camber, Liz Hull and Caroline Cheetham have been at Southwark Crown Court every day, bringing you the latest on the trial as it unfolds.
And now as the second week of the trial begins, we bring you a round-up of the five key claims made against Brand in the trial so far.

1. Alleged victim claims Brand turned from being 'camp and effeminate' to 'monster-like' before 'raping her'
Russell Brand's first alleged victim has accused him of grooming her at a Labour Party Conference in 1999 before pouncing on and raping her in her hotel room.
The 'snake-like' actor was described as having turned from the 'camp and effeminate' man she met at the conference into a 'monster'.
The pair had only met hours earlier at a fringe theatrical performance Brand starred in, and she recalled how he pulled her ponytail while she was on the phone to get her attention.
'He was very childish, he was very playful - I didn't feel threatened by him', she said.
Initially Brand showered her with compliments, telling her she was pretty and clever as they chatted for hours about a play they could stage, she said.
She invited him back to her hotel room to continue their conversation, but became 'frightened' when Brand suddenly took his top off and demanded she photograph him.
Breaking down in tears in a police interview played to the court, she said: 'He changed from this person who is camp and effeminate and friendly to monster-like.
He was half naked. While I was naive, I did not think his intentions were good. He was dark and arrogant and performing. He was scary and demanding.
'He raped me. I said, "No I don't want this". I know the words he used back at me.
'He said, "Let yourself into it, let yourself enjoy it, do not worry about shame and reputation".
Jurors were shown images of Brand on stage at a cabaret performance at the Labour Party conference in Bournemouth in 1999. It was after this show that he is alleged to have raped a woman at her hotel room
2. Brand forced woman to take topless images of him before allegedly raping her
Last week, the court was shown images of Brand posing topless for the camera before allegedly raping his victim.
The woman told the jury that she had returned to her hotel room with Brand after attending the Labour Party Conference in Bournemouth and had suggested Brand make a tea while she went to the bathroom.
She said she was shocked to emerge from the bathroom to see Brand half-naked, 'prancing around' like an ostrich.
He was said to have been behaving like he was the 'centre of the show' as he then 'demanded' she take topless photos of him.
In one of the images, now released by the Metropolitan Police after it was shown in court, Brand can be seen with pursed lips, blowing a kiss toward the 'terrified' woman.
Moments later, Brand is alleged to have pushed the woman onto a bed and raped her, telling her she'd 'have to learn to enjoy it' as she struggled for breath under his crushing weight.

3. Second alleged victim says she fears the 'wild-eyed maniac' could have raped her
Last Friday, on the fifth day of the trial, a second alleged victim told of how she fears she could have been raped when 'wild-eyed maniac' Brand tried to drag her into a male toilet.
The 51-year-old is accused of attacking an MTV worker in 2001, attempting to yank her into a toilet to 'assault' her after switching from being an 'affable' TV presenter to a 'wild-eyed maniac'.
The alleged victim told jurors she fought back and managed to 'wrench' her arm free, but she said: 'The intent was there, it could have been very different.'
Jurors heard that the alleged attack unfolded just moments after Brand met the woman.
'He was quite famous then and he was a flagship presenter for MTV. He was pretty well-known,' she recalled.
'I noticed he was wearing a distinctive t-shirt which I liked. It said "I am Spartacus", the film is one of my favourites.
'I said: "Lovely t-shirt, I want it."
'He said: "You can have it."
'I said, '"Make sure it gets a good wash".
'It was very jovial, just banter.'
Brand then asked for the location of the male toilets which the victim agreed to show him, but as she reached the door he suddenly grabbed her, she said.
'His demeanour changed. He grabbed my forearm as he was leaning into the door and it was quite forceful the grip.
'He was trying to pull me into the bathroom with him and I was trying to pull myself away.
'I said to him 'What are you doing? Are you mad? Let me go.'
She said she confided in colleagues, but decided not to make a report at the time as she was 'scared' and thought it would be 'my word against his'.

4. 'Predatory' actor had a 'goal' of bedding 5,000 women
The court heard as the prosecution opened its case on Wednesday that Brand is a ruthless 'sexual predator' with a 'voracious' appetite who raped victims while pursuing a 'goal' of bedding 5,000 women.
The comedian and actor was described as a 'calculated and manipulative' rapist who spent a decade assaulting women, treating them as a 'means to an end' to satisfy his 'insatiable desire'.
The opening of the extraordinary celebrity trial heard that the 'child-like' TV star 'lured in' women with his comedy antics, charming victims before pouncing 'like an animal'.
Obsessed with sex, the now-married father-of-three allegedly bragged to friends he was an 'expert pick-up artist', a 'womaniser' and a 'ladies' man', insisting, 'All you have to do is tell them what they need to hear', jurors were told.
Evidence from witnesses later in the week spoke to this, including a former flatmate who told of Brand's 'huge preoccupation' for sex.
5. Brand had a 'panicked urgency' on the night of the alleged rape in Bournemouth
Andrew Dobson, a former friend of Brand's, gave evidence in court on Friday. He had lived with Brand for a short period in 1999 before he became famous.
Mr Dobson was staying in a guesthouse with Brand at the time of the first alleged rape in Bournemouth.
Mr Dobson, who composed the music for the cabaret show on the fringes of the Labour Party conference in 1999, recalled how he would play on his PlayStation in the evenings during the conference, prompting a smile from Brand in the dock.
He went on to describe how there had been an atmosphere of 'jollity' when they returned to their accommodation without Brand after the final show in Bournemouth.
The next morning, they were slowly preparing to leave and he told the court the tone changed to 'hurried and rushed' when Brand emerged again.
He said: 'I recall Russell coming in and there suddenly being an urgency to leave.'
Mr Dobson said he cannot recall the reason for the urgency, but added: 'I only remember the atmosphere and almost a panicked urgency and it feeling tense and confusing.
'I didn't really understand why.'
Mr Dobson also said: 'It was the abrupt change of atmosphere of what had been a fun week that I remember.
'There was an abrupt change of tone. Even in the car there was a really charged atmosphere.'
The 51-year-old comedian is on trial for three counts of rape, three counts of sexual assault and one count of indecent assault.
It was heard in court that the six woman accusing Brand did not know each other and came forward independently of each other.
The comedian, 51, says all sexual contact was consensual and suggested his six accusers 'reimagined' the encounters they had with him after seeing media reports of his alleged sexual misconduct.
The other alleged attacks, which jurors are yet to hear about in detail as the case goes on, include an assault at a birthday party in Soho in 2004 and alleged rape at his home in Hampstead in 2009.
The trial continues.
