Seven Tajik minors who were left without adult supervision in Russia were returned to Tajikistan on October 18, the Consular Service of the Tajik Embassy in Moscow has reported.
The repatriation was organized by the embassy’s consular service in cooperation with the Department for the Prevention of Juvenile and Youth Offences of Tajikistan’s Interior Ministry and the relevant Russian authorities.
“The children were returned in accordance with the CIS agreement on cooperation in the repatriation of minors to their countries of permanent residence,” the embassy’s consular service said.
The reasons the children were left without adult supervision in Russia were not disclosed.
A similar case occurred previously, when seven Tajik minors in the same circumstances were returned home under the CIS agreement.
According to the embassy’s consular service, a total of 52 Tajik minors who had been left without adult supervision were repatriated from Russia to Tajikistan in 2025.
