Juventus host Lazio as they look to return to winning ways after drawing away at Cagliari in their previous league match, and this is the starting eleven just announced.
Juventus team to face Lazio
The home side will be determined to respond positively, but they face a difficult challenge against a Lazio team that has remained unbeaten in the league this season. Juventus understand that the visitors have earned their strong start through consistent performances and will not be easy opponents to overcome.
Juventus face a tough Lazio test
Lazio have made an unexpectedly strong start to the campaign and will arrive in Turin full of confidence. Their unbeaten run demonstrates how well they have performed so far, and they will be eager to maintain that record against another major opponent.
Juventus, meanwhile, must find a way to break down the visitors and make the most of their home advantage. The Bianconeri played in Europe during the week, meaning Lazio could arrive fresher for this encounter. However, that cannot become an excuse for a poor performance, particularly with important league points at stake.
The pressure is on Juventus to deliver a convincing display and show that they can compete consistently throughout the season. After missing out on a top four finish last term, they know the campaign will be demanding, making every league fixture important.
The Bianconeri need three points
Juventus have made a positive effort to remain competitive this season, but they must continue collecting points if they want to stay within reach of the leading teams. Dropping points against Cagliari has increased the importance of responding with a strong performance against Lazio.
There is little doubt that the visitors will pose a serious threat. Their confidence and consistent results make them a difficult team to face, and Juventus will need to be disciplined while taking their chances when they arise.
Nevertheless, playing at home could give the Bianconeri an important advantage. With their supporters behind them, Juventus will hope to make life difficult for Lazio and bring the visitors’ unbeaten league run to an end.
